Rapper Nicki Minaj was arrested in May of 2024 in Amsterdam on suspicion of carrying drugs.

The basis for the charge was the suspicion that Minaj intended to export the drugs out of the country.

Authorities found “pre-rolls”.

Minaj ended up having to cancel her concert the following night in Manchester.

Apparently Minaj was held in jail for five or six hours and could not make her flight in Manchester in time for the scheduled concert.

Minaj stated “Please, please, please accept my deepest & most sincere apologies. They sure did know exactly how to hurt me today but this too, shall pass”.

Minaj is currently conducting her Pink Friday 2 World Tour promoting her most recent album.

Minaj rescheduled Manchester for June 3, 2024.
